Jim Moniz

For more than forty years, Jim Moniz has been committed to providing  suitable financial advice based on the latest developments in the industry, law changes,  and thorough and timely research. Jim received his Masters of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) from The American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.  He earned a Graduate Certificates for study in Pensions and Executive Compensation, Estate Planning strategies, and in Financial Asset Management.   

Jim values honesty and openness and displays those qualities with his clients.  He shows a seasoned understanding of the needs of business owners, high net-worth individuals and successful professionals, tailoring programs to help achieve his clients' objectives.  Jim focuses on Wealth Management, Estate Strategies, Retirement, Business Succession, and Executive Compensation Planning.

 
Extensive background and knowledge of the business, financial, estate, and retirement planning fields have allowed Jim to conduct numerous seminars and lectures for various groups. He has been a lecturer for a program called "Doctors in Debt," presented to the graduating class of the Harvard Medical School.   Jim's commitment to education is also evident through his teaching classes to colleagues who are working towards their Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations.   He also presents continuing education programs for Financial Planners, Insurance Agents, Accountants, and Attorneys. 
   

Jim maintains the latest financial software and research programs and is a valuable resource to numerous Attorneys, Accountants, and other financial professionals.  Jim is actively involved with various professional organizations, including the Estate Planning Council and the International Association for Financial Planning.
 

As dedicated as Jim is to his clients, colleagues, and associates, his greatest source of pride is his family.  Jim resides in Hanover, Massachusetts with his wife, Kate, and their two children, Erinlea and Sam.  In his leisure time he enjoys his family, friends, sports, traveling, jazz, fine dining, and premium cigars.
