Jim received his Masters of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) from The American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He earned a Graduate Certificates for study in Pensions and Executive Compensation, Estate Planning strategies, and in Financial Asset Management.

Extensive background and knowledge of the business, financial, estate, and retirement planning fields have allowed Jim to conduct numerous seminars and lectures for various groups. He has been a lecturer for a program called "Doctors in Debt," presented to the graduating class of the Harvard Medical School. Jim's commitment to education is also evident through his teaching classes to colleagues who are working towards their Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designations. As dedicated as Jim is to his clients, colleagues, and associates, his greatest source of pride is his family. Jim resides in Hanover, Massachusetts with his wife, Kate, and their two children, Erinlea and Sam. In his leisure time he enjoys his family, friends, sports, traveling, jazz, fine dining, and premium cigars.
